Atarax
There are
few antihistamines as effective as Atarax
(Generic, hydroxyzine) for relief of
allergies. Uncommonly, however, are they
prescribed for nasal allergies, for these
products can result in profound drowsiness.
Contrariwise, this very side effect. has led
to its use as a sedative – an adjunct for
sleep.
I
particularly have employed it to manage
itching, including the highly bothersome
chronic hives. For the many who suffer
recurrent itching welts
each
evening, a stiff dose of Atarax taken each
night results in significant if not total
relief after awhile.
