Atarax or Hydroxyzine (The
generic) can cause extreme drowsiness.
Unless understood, the first dose likely
will be the last taken. Taking Hydroxyzine
once daily and only at night is an ideal
solution. The patient, the parent, and the
doctor will sleep better.
